Training & Work

I have a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and am licensed to practice in California. In addition to private practice, I have worked as a psychologist at Stanford University where I provided counseling and crisis services to Stanford students and weekly clinical supervision to pre-doctoral trainees and psychiatry residents. Prior to this position, I worked as a psychologist at University of California, San Francisco- Student Health and Counseling Services and as a behavioral mental health consultant for Managed Healthcare Unlimited, Inc.

Having trained in many types of mental health settings, including children’s hospitals, acute residential settings, and university counseling centers, I have helped people from diverse cultural backgrounds with a wide array of mental health difficulties. These training sites include:

While I am trained as a generalist and work with many different mental health issues, I especially enjoy working with adults in their 20’s and 30’s experiencing anxiety, adjustment difficulties, perfectionism, confidence issues, and/or relationship issues. A large portion of my caseload consists of individuals working in tech, sales, start-up, consulting, and healthcare industries. I have a particular interest in treating young professionals, highly motivated individuals, and the university student population. I am well-versed in fast-paced working and academic environments and the personalities it attracts. I have experience running women’s support groups, providing supervision to therapists’ in training, and facilitating outreach presentations. Outreach presentations have focused on topics related to mindfulness, building and maintaining healthy relationships, and stress/anxiety management. I also received focused training and supervision in applied sports and performance psychology, and have worked with collegiate athletes and their teams, students with academic and career-related anxiety, and other performance-based concerns.
